Ongoing brand partnership

An ongoing cross-functional design partnership with HP Omen — continually refreshing the visual identity of the gaming brand through hero imagery, announce and feature animations, UI mockups, motion graphics, sound, and graphic design.

Positioning OMEN as a premium yet approachable gaming brand — built around performance and design — requires a visual language that avoids the aggression most gaming brands default to. The work had to feel sophisticated enough to compete with premium consumer tech while still speaking authentically to a gaming audience that can spot inauthenticity immediately. Core product features needed to land through visual metaphor rather than spec callouts.

Process & Approach

A language for performance.

The work spans the full OMEN visual system — hero launch films, announce animations, feature-specific motion sequences, UI mockups, and event assets, all developed in close collaboration with industrial design and marketing teams. Rather than treating each deliverable as standalone, the approach has been to build a coherent visual grammar that can flex across formats while maintaining a consistent brand signature.

Performance features are expressed through motion metaphors: speed through environmental blur and frame sequencing, precision through tight timing and material close-ups, power through scale contrast and sound design. The OMEN 45L Desktop campaign is one expression of this — grounding a fantastical mascot in tactile, concrete environments to bridge personality with credibility.

Outcome

The asset system unified OMEN's visual presence across marketing, events, and internal presentations — earning a Telly Award in the process. Content built on the system drove hundreds of thousands of engagements across social, built product excitement at major industry events, and contributed directly to gaming sales growth. The ongoing cross-functional partnership with industrial design and marketing means the visual identity evolves alongside the product line, with each new campaign building on a system that holds.

Premium and approachable. Performance and design. Both, always.
