Motion Designer
A collaboration between a sound designer, a motion designer, and myself — a futuristic product showcase in which a device scans your hand and synthesises the optimal health solution tailored to your body. I led all 3D motion design work.
Creating a product that doesn't exist yet meant designing its visual language from first principles — every surface, material, and motion had to feel simultaneously credible and unlike anything currently on the market.
Diagnosis as spectacle.
Houdini particle and fluid simulations drove the scanning and synthesis sequences. Redshift rendering with subsurface scattering gave the organic elements their biological warmth — part pharmaceutical, part living organism.
A complete showcase film — sound, motion, and visuals working together to present a product experience that feels genuinely possible, and genuinely unsettling in its intimacy with the body.
