Summer's End is a personal visual project built around the sensation of transition — the specific mood of late summer light, fading warmth, and the weight of time passing.
Translating a felt experience into a visual series without sentimentality required a precise approach to color, light, and negative space that suggested rather than stated.
Nostalgia without kitsch.
The palette was held to a strict warm range — amber, ochre, deep shadow — with deliberate restraint on saturation. Composition leaned into emptiness and peripheral detail over central subject matter.
A quiet, cohesive series that demonstrates emotional range and visual restraint — showing that effective art direction is often about what is withheld.
