An exploration of visualising AI and its processes through 3D — using motion and form to ask how foreign machine cognition truly is, and whether the processes underlying it might hold a kind of alien beauty.
Trying to represent something invisible and poorly understood — the actual structure of machine reasoning — required inventing a visual vocabulary rather than reaching for existing references.
Foreign, and beautiful.
3D simulations in Houdini generated forms that felt genuinely non-human — organic but structured, flowing but purposeful. Compositing in AfterFX layered these with AI-generated textures to push the strangeness further.
A self-directed motion study that finds the meeting point between computational process and visual wonder — making the internal mechanics of AI systems something you can feel, not just understand.
