A launch campaign for Stryker's PhotonBlade 3 SE — blending live action, 3D animation, and motion graphics into a flexible asset system built for presentations, sales tools, and social media.

The PhotonBlade 3 SE represents a meaningful leap in surgical technology — but communicating device innovation to both clinical and commercial audiences requires more than spec sheets. The challenge was creating motion content that could make the product's advancements feel tangible and compelling, while remaining modular enough to serve decks, reels, and short-form social without a full re-cut every time.

Process & Approach

Built to move product.

The production combined live action footage of the device with 3D-rendered internals and motion graphics overlays — a layered approach that lets the camera show what's real while animation explains what you can't see. 3D models were built from engineering references to ensure technical accuracy, then art-directed into a visual language that could hold up on a conference stage or an Instagram story.

A core priority was modularity: every scene was designed with clean in/out points and isolated layers so the asset system could be remixed into format-specific cuts without rebuilding from scratch.

Outcome

A single production delivered a hero launch film, presentation motion segments, and social cuts across multiple aspect ratios — all from the same source. The modular architecture means Stryker's commercial team can pull the format they need for any context without commissioning new work each time. One production. Every surface it needed to reach.
